The penguins can get more than that for Maatta. Defense goes for an arm and a leg this time of year. A young, relatively low paid, top 4 pairing is one of the most expensive things on the trade market right now. LAK are looking at a 1st + Kap + for Muzzin from Toronto. They said it cost to much and started looking else where. Don't think for one minute the penguins would sell lower. At best it would be a one for one and probably not even that. He's a rental. Ottawa would really have to sweeten the pot on that.
There is also no way they downgrade on center. That trade is the worst of the 3 and that's saying a lot.

Well, dickinson would be probably better fit for Pens than brassard. He Is young, fast, and pace for (25)? points at 4th line Center. and brassard is rental

And Dzingel RESIGNED for Maatta and 3rd Is pretty great deal for both. Maybe one for one would be best option, but there is lot of teams who want Dzingel.
Maatta's value is not close to Muzzin's value

La deal is probably too low, but there can be added pick/prospect or young player (like Zar or Simon)

brassard is worth a 1st and a prospect easily.

Yes, brassard is probably worth more, but dickinson is good young player and brass is rental.

Kings want 1st + prospect and ölund + 1st is that. Pens could add prospect or pick.

So signed top6 forward is not close to Maattas value?
