Tbh Zaitsev and his contract are a problem. Having a younger d man with a professional cup winning mentor would be great

It's starting to un cap friendly since the Leafs want to pay their PB this year. Really how does Gudas help (admitting the Leafs aren't giving much up.)
Reilly, Gardiner, Dermot have been solid at LHD. Hainsey has been solid and even Zaitsev and Ozzie have been OK this year, Now the Leafs have Muzzin too. Guess folks won't be happy to the Leafs acquire every third pairing RHD in the league.

Why move a 2nd rounder (when we already moved our 1st!) and a decent up-and-coming forward (who we could maybe use next year), along with the goalie that is saving our AHL affiliate's season, for Radko Gudas? How does that help with cap? And to be honest, gudas is not that good.

Don’t see the good in this, Ozzy May very well be a healthy already, don’t see the leafs making any more moves rhd without someone else getting shipped out. May be zaitsev moving this summer for a cheaper Dman.
