Considering Brown scored 36 points as a rookie and was signed the following summer, Kapanen will make hundreds of thousands more. Johnsson too. He has 19 points in his last 25 games...

To be honest on 5 year term I think you’re a bit high. We will have to wait and see, but those numbers are well above market price. Marner 9x5 puts Rantanen at about 11.5-12.5m on an 8 year deal.

They do, but overpaying players weakens the team in cap era. Seems like no one wants to be the first to sign. There are a lot of high priced rfa’s this year. 15/16 drafts were strong.
