Pretty thin rental market for D out there. Not the sexiest pickup but Beaulieu has 300+ games of experience, not a bad fall-back option if Valimaki/Kylington falter or injuries arise. He also isn't afraid to drop the mitts if need be which is something this team lacks outside of a couple players. As a pending RFA the Flames could always keep Beaulieu if they like him which is unlikely, they can all together just non-tender him making a UFA, or if he plays well maybe they can move his rights.

For a BUF point of view, I know Beaulieu has requested a trade earlier in the year, not sure what they want in a return.

Once again not making the biggest splash here, but Janmark is a reliable player, who if he works out as an RFA they can bring back, if not they can cut ties. It is rumoured Dallas has been looking to move him. He's only shooting 4% down from his career average of 11%, so Dallas would be selling low. Once again if injuries happen Janmark isn't a bad option to fill a top 9 role
