Yeah it's not like they have a history of trading their captain.... Jason Arnott, Shea Weber, Kimmo Timonen, Tom Fitzgerald...

Only captains they haven't traded are Fisher (retired), Greg Johnson (retired), and Josi (trade pending)

He's also about to ask for a raise that's going to put him into the 8-9M range. While i agree, they'd probably trade Subban first, Josi is a distinct possibility too if they can't come to terms in the summer.

Yep his 4M caphit next season is very friendly to a cap strapped team and would give them a year to figure out his extension. Heck I’d even retain half his salary to maximize the return since it’s only be 1 year. Josi at 2M for 1 year could get one heck of a return
