How Id tidy up loose ends

Description
So my thinking is Bring back Boyle on rental again seeing he is exactly the type of Heavy, Defensive minded player that can help tidy up the forwards. The price i feel is fair for a 34 year old rental Timashov is a solid prospect, Lindgren is a decent prospect and a 2nd this year for Boyle and a 3rd in 2021. Jensen to me is a low cost RHD the puts up solid Advanced Stats and is a solid Defensive Dman and for a solid d prospect that will play in Detroit by next season (but may never crack the leafs due to where he is on the depth chart) and could develop into a solid 4-5 LHD dman and a 4th round pick the Red wings get a player that help soon and a mid round pick which is a solid return for a rental they can easily resign in the offseason.

If you mean brought in solid players that can hit thanks because kronwalled is slang in detroit from making bone crushing hits if i do understand it properly.

Too much for Boyle, IMO...I wouldn't want to give up more LW prospects after trading Grundstrom...

A Jensen/Glendening package from Detroit would work well....only issue is the cap. We need $3.7m in cap space this year without putting Horton on LTIR so anymore deals this year would likely need close to equal money being moved out.

Nice job. If Boyle wants to go elsewhere I think NJ will do right by him

Detriot may get a 3rd pair dman that can play 2nd pair in injury but Borgman will not be leaf so we're not really loosing the talk is detriot will want a 2nd or a prospect and 3rd so by giving them a slightly better prospect that is almost NHL ready and a 4th both teams can look like they got fair value.

I disagree seeing 1st next season the leafs have about 3-4 forwards prospects they will sign to contracts Korshkov, Dzierkals, and Chebykin so they already have the prospects to replace those 2 in the system also by getting a 3rd in a few years they can have an asset for trade or bolser the prospect pool once it start to get a little thin.

Difference of opinion, I guess. Grundstrom was someone many thought would compete for a roster spot next year....Timashov seems like the next closest LWer to me. Those other guys, IMO, are still a few years away from being thought of as NHLers

Well i wouldn't be shocked if Grundstrom was traded cause Korashov is thought of as a player to be almost ready to go he has had a few injuries this year but has been playing really good and was at one point thought of as a player who could have played on the gold medal winning Russian olympic team before the injury.
