I can't see the Jets making that trade. I think the Jets would ask for one of Provorov or Sanheim if they want a D, or one of Couturier (unlikely) or Patrick if they want a forward. They are in win-now mode so adding a pick and a prospect doesn't make much sense for them, they'll want a roster player.

Not even close for Trouba, Detroit could easily beat that offer. Veleno is better then Rubstov and besides Trouba wants either 7 x 7.5 or 7 x 8 no way in hell he signs for only $1 million more then what he's .currently making. And Panarin is going to Florida this summer. He took on Bobrovsky's agent both are signing with the Panthers.

I'm a Jets fan and I say take the pick and center prospect in Rubstov and cut your losses on Trouba, wait much longer and they're likely to get zero for him.

I'd be happy with Veleno or Hronek and a 2nd for Trouba.

Doubt we'd move Hronek that kids going to be special down the road. But i'd do Veleno+2nd for Trouba. I think Veleno can be just as good as Larkin is in a few years.

So because two Russian players on the same team hire the same agent they are glued at the hips for their career? How do you know they are both going to Florida?

Because the Florida media is pretty much saying both could be heading to Sunrise. Not saying it's going to happen. But Tallon is heavily pursuing both.

So beat writers in FL hoping it happens (and who could blame them).
