Doubt Panarin takes a pay cut to go to a rebuilding team in California, where they will rob most of his money anyway, as opposed to tax free florida

One contract the Kings might want to get rid is Kovalchuks, which sorta takes away the theory of Russia reunion. Why do some many think Florida is tax free state? There is no state or province that is tax free.

FL has no state income tax, so signing there would save 12% over CA. However, Panarin supposed likes LA and my thought is Kovalchuk could help convince him...

I understand their is no state income tax when paying personal tax rates, but I don't know if other folks do, when they repeatedly says there is no tax. Of course, there is foolish belief that players pay personal income tax, especially in the home of their team.

Are you insinuating that players don’t pay income tax? They are employees and just like any other employee they pay tax in the country state or province they are employed in.

I'm saying they are incorporated so much of their income is sheltered. In the US, I believe a players pays taxes where he makes his income, so a player that plays games in other states or cities pays taxes in those areas. Players in Canada don't pay taxes necessarily on the province where they play but what their primary residence is. Against it so much more complicated they looking at those personal income tax rates that are posted.
