Everybody is missing Edm's 2019 1st Round pick, likely a Top 3 pick and the Sens do not have one for 2019. I thought I'd get ripped for the Oilers getting stiff not the Sens.

I saw an ACGM trade Sekera (if he is indeed healthy) to Mon for Alzner. Thought that was a good garbage for garbage trade.

Wow I just noticed before this season Alzner played 8 full (never miss a game) seasons. That is the opposite of Sekera. I like that trade idea more now, plus Alzner was born from the West Coast.

No matter how bad Lucic and his bloated contract is it isn't worth giving up a possible 1st overall pick to get rid of him.

I agree but trading what could be a 1st overall pick just to get rid of Lucic would be absolutely moronic.
Trade Nurse or Klefbom for some forward help, that's about the only option that might get the Oilers something that will actually improve them now. Trading picks and prospects are probably only getting you a rental and that doesnt help in the long run.
If not that then tank the rest of the season, sell off whatever UFA'S you have for whatever you can get for them and try to add a couple UFA wingers in the summer.
It's gonna be interesting to see what Oilers management does to try and improve this team.
