Forwards:
I trade Mantha for some D while he's young and has upside. I could see him just being a bigger Vanek but without the real good years. The caveat to this is if they fall in the draft and draft Byram, would probably keep Mantha. Svechnikov is waiver-eligible so he's going to be up. I think Zadina and Veleno should be given a real chance to make the team. They both project better than Rasmussen at this point in my mind. With Veleno being AHL eligible I could see them putting him there. Not sure if they put Rasmussen in the AHL or not. I'm torn on that. Guess we'll see how he does down the stretch.

The first line actually looks like a real first line. The second and third lines are shaky, but I arranged them that way because I doubt they would ever put three kids together on any line at the same time. They did for Tatar-Sheahan-Nyquist, but they were older than these guys.

Defense:
To preface this: I hope they trade Daley this year at the deadline but I doubt it happens. Pesce makes it better, Green E and Daley's last years. Lindstrom steps in hopefully in 20-21 on the right side. Be nice to see McIsaac maybe make it that same year, but again, doubtful. Hicketts is waiver eligible so I sent Ehn down and brought him up. Be nice if they could trade a bottom six forward, but again, I doubt it.

Goalies:
I re-sign Jimmy because, let's face it, it's going to happen. Would have liked to see Rybar backing up Bernier at least through training camp/pre-season but can't see that happening in reality.

I highly highly doubt they would let four rookies play at forward without injury, but I'd enjoy watching it. Just hope Kenny can keep his money in his pocket on July 1st. But this would both be a good season for development and a good shot at staying low in the standings to make a run at Lafreniere who is probably the best guy at the top of the draft since Matthews.
