Martinez for 2021 1st and a b prospect from Montreal. Reason I say this is because kings have said they want similar trade to leafs for Muzzin just one less prospect. Leafs gave up two B prospects and a 1st so for Martinez it’s at least 1st round pick and 1 B prospect

Seem low for carter but I haven’t watched too many kings games this year. He’s also getting old I guess.

Lucky you.

Speaking of . . . well, it's not luck: You guys got a tremendous pickup today. Nick Jensen was part of my master plan to solve the Maple Leafs' defense and cap problems: sign him for $2.5M for four years and trade Zaitsev plus whatever it takes for Scott Mayfield. At least I was right on his value!

Thought caps overpaid but I read that he agreed to sign before being traded and that’s why Bowey was traded. I think this really makes the caps rd strong bc it was pretty weak. Also allows us to trade Niskanen in the offseason

This was a master stroke by GMBM (although the Duchene deal by JK was pretty good, too). About the only good thing about it is that now the Kings are almost certain to get that 6th-round conditional pick from the Hagelin deal.

Jk deal was extremely impressive. Might make up for the initial ball drop of the original duchene deal.

Yeah I’m happy w our chances this year. We are making low risk moves instead of trying to hit a homerun....shatt frown

After running over your posts as well as other comments, I think a more likely destination for Martinez is Buffalo, for its lowest first-rounder. And there might be interest in Toronto and Edmonton for Clifford.

i think hed be good on a contender but honestly he seems like he doesnt care or isnt trying during the games to bring his value down so they dont move him. sad year
