So you want bad contracts but good enough to be a possible playoff team? Kind of a contradiction, would have been more intersting putting together a team of the worst contracts and still getting under the Cap. But i appreciate the effort you put in.

To be honest Weber's contract isn't even bad how contacts are going now 7.8m for a top 2 dman is great

This is the reasoning until someone discusses what, the better d-man, Gardiner should get this offseason, then it’s more along the lines of “LOL a team paying over 6m for Gardiner? Enjoy eternal playoff drought!”.
Weber has the worst contract on any top-2 d-man by a fair bit. Krejci has a way better contract in comparison, cause he’s actually still a #1c
