Skinner is not gonna sign a deal like that unless it’s like 10/ season. Plus he’s gonna sign in buffalo. He loves the city and jack as his center.

Why a cap dump when you had the cap space to hold onto Alzner anyway? Doesn't really make sense.

Traditionally, Arizona takes non cash output such as LTIRs or retired players as opposed to taking bad cash output contract. Admitting that is quite a premium Montreal would be paying. As long as team as cap space they are better just to bury a player in the AHL in Alzners case it results in about 3.5m cap hit.
