Nah. If Thornton doesn't retire, he either continues with Sharks or signs a 1-year deal with a true contender like Tampa. There's no point for him to go to Dallas.

The idea is that a veteran could lead the 4th line. I would go for Spezza, but I don’t think he would want 4th line minutes. I like Joe, but it could be a different one year center.

How do you feel about Brassard? He played with Zucc a few years ago (I believe it was their 2nd line).

A 4th line center is hardly and issue and joe isnt that anyways. Hayes and zucc is a good pair. Bolster that second line and add depth to the scorimg. You slot faksa with coggs and maybe janmarke and things look more stable in the top 9.

Brassard could be a nice asset. Wouldn't mind him.

I like Joe. I think he would bring a mentality that could help the young guys develope further. It wasn’t about a guy that has battled for years who could be a solid one year contract. I agree that it probably won’t happen, but I wouldn’t mind if it did happened.

I would like to go Janmark - Faksa - Cogs / Comeau on the 3rd line.
I’m not sure about Gurianov - Dickinson - L’Esperance
