I get that, I think your thoughts on the trade will depend on how you value Hamilton. I compromised a little on that deal for those who value him more than I personally do. I foresaw the comment "Hamilton (who's gunna get 30 plus points in a down year), a high end prospect, and a pick for McDavid's winger?!?!?!?"

Group the last 2 trades Ristolainen, Reinhart, and Pilut, for Draisaitl and Nurse.
I agree that that is not enough for Draisaitl, I think that is not enough for Reinhart.
Seconds cancel out, Hamilton > Ristolainen, Bean < Pilut and Reinhart = Reinhart
Buffalo gets a solid LHD (really solid with Dahlin and McCabe) and a top winger who could make the 2nd line solid. Edmonton gets a solid PP RHD, solid top line RW, and a good LHD prospect

I think Buffalo would need to add, but the question is how much? A second? A prospect (Asplund, O'Reagan, UPL)? This is one of the many reasons I disliked DATM, my son thought Buffalo should have drafted Leon over Sam in 2014 (how did he know this and DATM did not?).

Draisaitl >>>>>>> Reinhart + Pilut. This is not even close. Draisaitl is 2nd in the league in goals, 8th in points. The way he's playing right now I wouldn't trade him for Eichel.
Nurse ~= Ristolainen. Nurse seems to be the better player but Risto is right-handed, their values would be pretty even IMO.
