What I Want Next Year To Look Like

Created by: BeastMode5515
Team: 2019-20 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 5, 2019
Published: Mar. 5, 2019
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Carlo contract: comparable to Theodore contract
Cehlarik: the same as Trevor Moore extension
Chara: will be laden with bonuses
JFK: Idk what to say about it lol
Heinen: similar to Miles Wood contract
McAvoy: long term contract for a 1RD, I'm too lazy to look for a comparable lol.
Backes trade: Backes is from Minny, so he will waive for sure. His contract is only owed about 5M (I think) after July 1st, so for proper pay the Wild should be able to take the contract.
Lines:
1st line: Heinen has looked rejuvenated with Bergy and Marchy, so it would be smart to keep him up there.
2nd line: Not much to say about it, a line that has been proven to be good together.
3rd line: I have big hopes for Stud. Cehlarik and Coyle are skilled enough wingers for him to succeed.
4th line: good G R I T
Defense: Grizz has been unbeliveably good, so with more ice time he could unlock his full potential. Chara has been bad this year so he is a mentoring 7D.

This would be absolutely perfect if it weren’t for the Chara hate. He’s been good this year, and would get himself a top four spot. I agree that grizz has been amazing though

Don't forget about that Frederic kid, he plays LW too smile

Heinen is the wildcard in everything. I wouldn't mind see Cassidy put him with Coyle and see if he can keep producing. Will he produce at a P/PG level? no, but I'd expect it to be better than what it was before playing with Bergy.

Don't see much of a need for JT as Boston has a ton of young wingers in providence that could fill the role of a 4th line grinder (Blidh)

I agree that he looks great at times, I just feel like he will be a little too slow for a full time role. But with our injury luck he’d probably get some time in lol
