Detroit isn't going to give you any draft picks for Maatta.

But I'm pretty sure you can get Frk for future considerations.

Horrible trade for a rebuilding team, Wings are not going to give you a high 2nd for your cap dump.

Detroit's not surrendering a 2nd round pick for Olli Maatta. No way Maatta isn't what we need.

Well it’s either picks, give up a decently skilled player, or continue to suck with those fossils on the back end. They need all the help they can get and it’s not like they don’t have plenty of picks

You’re an idiot. Yea why would a rebuilding team trade for a 24 yr old 1st round draft pick defensemen in his prime years to help that old ass defense group? Why wouldn’t they? If you’re going to talk out of your ass, don’t comment on my threads

A young defenseman in his prime is exactly what they need. What they really need is to lose Green, Kronwall, and Daley, but this will do.

Sorry what I should've said is Detroit wants nothing to do with Maatta. Detroit has to many D.

Fair enough. Hey I don’t like Maatta, but for whatever reason some pens fan seem to like him

First off name calling just shows that you can not put up an complete and coherent point. If you do not like someone who does not agree with you, then do not post on here. Swearing and name calling just shows the rest of us that you do not belong on this site. Please delete your account if you can not take critics to your posts.

As far as your posts Wings are in no place to trade picks that could produce players who are cost controlled and could play in the NHL.

Also Wings are in transition and have an old defense, but in the next two years will be stocked with young and very good defenseman. Cholowski, Hronek, and possibly Sulak and Lindstrom. If you want too talk about talking out your butt maybe you should know something about the team you are telling me i know nothing about.

Also if he is not a cap dump and he is a1st round pick and he is so good why are you trading him? Because you need to get rid of salary, and teams in Pittsburgh position can not ask teams taking on you alot of cap for several years, in rebuild mode, to give up.picks.

First off, what are you 6? Stop whining about somebody putting you in your place. I put a coherent point together just fine. You’re just mad because I made you look like foolish. I don’t care if you comment on my thread, but at least make solid points. I have a low tolerance for stupidity and I won’t make an exception for you junior. If you can’t handle people criticizing your comments, don’t make them. Please delete your account if you are gonna throw tandrams like a child every time somebody doesn’t agree with your comments.

Sure those young players could be great, but they all have little to no NHL experience. Bringing in a guy like Maatta who is young but has years of NHL could be beneficial. Who knows. You clearly know everything, so I’m sure you know. You should clearly read that last sentence of my first comment to you because it clearly hasn’t sunk it yet. Give it time squirt...you’ll get there.

Whatever. I guess we have a different idea of what putting someone in their place, and who looks foolish.

I will refrain from posting on your post as debating a dullard only makes me one also.

Have a good day.
