You vastly overrate the trade value of Brodie. One year on his contract going traded to a lottery team? C'mon. Same with Ryan, 3rd/4th line centres don't get much in a trade.

Well there's that, and why trade just to clear cap space that you don't use anyways. But it would be nice if Tkachuk signed a contract similar to that. How does Nashville want Brodie anyways? Seems like literally the last team you'd wanna make even deeper.
