1st overall pick is not worth that much, and Huberdeau is worth much more.. not to mention doubt Florida has interest in Barrie, they dont need more offensive dmen

Yeah, I really think I over valued COL's -- The Barrie Trade is just picking a random team for me, don't really understand value all too well. But from VAN's stand point - what do you think they would give up to get both Hughes?

their 1st a high end prospect and a young NHLer but not to the level of Boeser. Basically just not Boeser Petterson or Horvat.
So like a 1st, Tryamakin and Pearson or something along those lines. Pearson could be Bearschi or Tanev or Hutton or whoever Colorado likes.

So then essentially we start with swapping picks and kind of go from there?

I am just saying if Colorado is giving up the #1 overall pick they would most likely want another later 1st to replace it and then some so sure start there but I think the prospect and player are what Colorado want more than the pick.

No no no no no. Let's just end all this madness above me right now. Colorado is not going to be trading the 1st overall pick if they get it. Hughes is going to be an absolute stud and in no way will they trade Hughes for a late 1st, Tryamakin and Pearson. That is not even close. IF (and I say IF because the odds of them trading that pick are absolutely 0) they decide to trade that pick it will be for a TOP end player in the league, that teams 1st round selection and another young prospect. And when I say top end I mean one of the top 10 players in the league.

@AvsPlayer93 wasn't even that far off in the inital trade IMO.

Vancouvers pick is probably going to be top 10 so they would still be a top 10 1st also got Tryamakin mixed up with someone else and realize he is not that high level of a prospect as I thought he was. My thoughts on the trade are the 1st a high end prospect and a high end young player not named Petterson Boeser or Horvat.

I agree. Considering that Vancouver also keeps it's 1st round pick. Not sure that I would do that deal though as a Canucks fan.

For the last time Huberdeau isn't available, And there's no guarantee's that the Ottawa pick lands at #1 overall. Just wait until the end of April when the draft lottery occurs.
