I think Stralman will probably get more. He's an underrated player IMO.

Maybe, also need to look at Tampa's tax situation. 2.5 Million in Tampa is quite a bit more in other places. I also believe he enjoys it in Tampa. His play has also been declining this year, even being a healthy scratch at times.

Stralman has been great but yes declining, someone else will give hi 4 plus million. Better to resign Colburn for less. He has had a very good year and from what I have read he trains very hard in the off season so he should be solid for two more years.

Need to be bold and cut cord with 3 Tampa D and save $11M from this year .. Firstly Cal Foote will be 3rd pair D next year and has to happen for both cap and trade value reasons. That really leaves 1 spot open .. Friggen 1.. I would go balls out and get a 2nd line RD like Faulk or Risto and play him with Sergachev and play Foote with Mc Donough. Mc Donough is like the Dog Whisperer out there. Hedman plays with Cernek. TOP D IN NHL. For that to happen 1 to 2 Tampa forwards need to be moved and they should to make room for Volkov etc.. this really is not hard. We have 4 to 5 LT contracts for 2nd line types who are still in their 20s .. that an attractive asset to ANY other NHL team. . other than, Callhan all have trade value and they will see writing on wall with less ice time if they dont authorize trade.
