TOR move makes sense, I think taking on high cap player to help a teams cap relief makes sense for Blues if we do not make any big FA signings. Callahan comes to mind too for TB.

Perunivich is LHD and probably plays in AHL but Reinke is RHD and might make NHL next year.
Also think Binnington gets more and Sundy gets a little less.
With TOR trade I would see this as the lineup.

Schenn Oreilly Vladi
Schwartz Thomas Perron
Marluea Bozak Kyrou/Kostin
Steen Barbashev Sundqvist

Dunn Petro
Eddy Parayko
Bouw Reinke

I think we bring Bouw back for 1 year at like 1.5 mil.

I was thinking of putting Reinke in the Perunovich spot but I think Scott will be the better player. I can't imagine Bouw only getting only 1.5, someone will give him more than that.

I can't see him wanting to move and play anywhere else I bet he would take whatever the Blues will give him. could be 1.5-3 mil.

Blues aren't getting Krug for that package. Plus, I'm not a fan of getting Krug when wehave Dunn and Perunovich in the system.
Also, dont think the Marleau trade happens as Marleau will likely not waive to come here. I can see him going back to SJ if they can't resign Karlsson or sign Panarin.

Patrick Marleau's contract is only for 1 more year. The leafs aren't wasting a 1st round pick for that. Maybe if he had 2 or 3 years left. Besides he's got to waive the NMC and I don't see him uprooting his young family again so soon for just 1 year.

Toronto's not doing that move and parting with a 1st to get rid of Marleau. They either trade him with the intent that he's retiring and only have to give up a prospect or 2nd rounder, or keep him cause of the chemistry in the room. They won't overspend to move him, nor do they have to. He's still a 20 goal scorer and 40 point guy at 40.. that's not something you just dump even with the cap. Not sure he'd waive his NMC for St. Louis anyways
