You need to add three more skaters to fill the roster which will put you well over the cap even if it goes up to $85M because of expansion money.

no you don't. 18 skaters is the minimum. Don't have to carry healthy scratches, it's just smart to in case of injury. But doesn't have to do it

Wouldn't a cap crunch that the Leafs and other teams will be in be one of those circumstances to carry less players then? You shouldn't have said that they NEED to get 3 more skaters, making it sound like they have to.
