Ok 1 for 1 Maatta isn't worth both Glendening and pick. In fact they should be giving Detroit the pick. He's a bottom pair defenseman, He's a younger more expensive version of Daley. Before I get roasted given the choice between him and Daley, I'd choose Maatta but just for his age. The cap hit is irrelevant we have cap space but its another filled roster taken from one of younger players. As pavelisgoat pointed out 2 days ago The Wings looked really good without some of our older players. It's just an opinion though.

Maatta has been in about 95% of Pittsburgh mocks and it isn't a good judge of talent but Pittsburgh fans have been trying to move all season. They see him play on a regular basis
and that many people want him out of Pittsburgh it makes you think.

Not even close to enough for McDavid. Malkin, Kessel, Dumo and Murray and Edm would probably go for it. Or maybe switch Kessel for Guentzel.
