Who is "John" Dahlstrom. That's what I'm most impressed with. If you can trade away someone I dont even know...5 stars

Way too much for the following big contracts you handed out...

Crawford...try $3.5m to $4M for 2 or 3 years
Strome....$5.5m to $6.25M
Debrincat....$7.5M to $8.5M

Where is Kahun?

Hawks don't need to retain nearly that much for Anisimov if anything at all.

Crow is a starter. And a good one.
Strome is young and wants a bridge deal. Bit high because its short. And the cat is a 40 goal scorer

Crow is not the player he once was and will be 35 next year. He's going to get a short term lower offer from the Hawks to retire as a Hawk.

Strome had ONE decent season. Before anyone should talk about a $7M contract (William Karlsson got $5.5M and will get another deal between $5M and $6M) let's all cool our jets and see how he plays next year. Based on a repeat of this season, that is worth$5.5M to $6.5M max depending on term.

Cat is a 40 goal scorer but he's also very one dimensional and not a 1st liner. While he's awesome, you are suggesting he gets more then a lot of guys that have more a complete game; i.e. Draisaitl at $8.5M or Stamkos ($8.5m), or MacKinnon ($6.3M)...all players that offer more then but in addition to goal scoring. Cat is great, but not in the same category as those guys. A $7.5M x 3 year bridge is what he's worth right now.

Stamkos took a discount 3 years ago. Mackinnon signed years ago as well. Drai was seen as a overpayment till this season. And he plays with mcdavid. Mcdavid made letestu a wanted player for the pp and pk. Kane is one dimensional too.
And not sure you can read for what season this is for.

Incorrect; Kane is a playmaker and makes everyone better on his line; he anchors a line and not only provides a scoring threat but is one of the best puck handlers in the league and passers which he is known for even more so then scoring. Cat is a pure sniper/scorer, he's not anywhere near the playmaker that Kane is, he is a top 10 goal scorer and that is certainly worthy as A talent but he's not elite talent like Kane at this point in his short career.

I can clearly read what season this is for; this is for the following offseason when Cat's ELC's is up and needs to get re-signed. If Cat is a top 10 or better goal scorer again next year, then a $8.5M deal or even $9M is warranted perhaps long term, but as of now, and my opinion aligns with all the professional talk right now on what Cat is worth, he's around a $7M to $8M bridge deal.
