I'm all for trading Vesey, but you keep Ryan Strome over Namestnikov, and arguably over kevin hayes mainly because strome has done really well in the expanded role since hayes left and he is a right handed shot, something the rangers severely lack. I would love next year for the powerplay to highlight Panarin in the Ovy spot with Strome in the Oshie spot-- strome has a knack for the net in his time with the rangers.

Rangers seem to have the pieces to pay the most for Fox. Even if wasn't Strome it could be a high pick. Upcoming UFA Vesey probably isn't that valued by a non playoff team.

It won't take that much to get Fox. Look at the Vesey to buffalo deal - a third rounder will suffice. No sense in trading Strome who was arguably one of the Rangers best forwards this year. DeAngelo's bridge deal will be be than 1.5 mil. Personally I think it'll take at least 2.25 over 2 years after this past season. Still needs to prove he can play disciplined and in check but definetly proved he was worth trading for. Agree for sure that one of Vlad or Vesey will be gone by training camp, if not both.
