Trades
1.
BOS
  1. 2020 4th round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
The Bruins get cap space.
MIN
  1. Backes, David
  2. Forsbacka Karlsson, Jakob [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Backes is from Minny.

JFK played college at BU on the same line as Jordan Greenway. They should definitely have interest in him.
2.
BOS
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
The Bruins take a minor risk here. Both the players they are sending are expendable, as they already have a replacement for Miller (Clifton) and Cehlarik hasn't carved out a spot yet, but his contributions would be replaced by Puljujarvi anyways.
EDM
  1. Cehlárik, Peter [RFA Rights]
  2. Miller, Kevan
Additional Details:
Miller replaces Larsson who is traded for a scoring Forward. Miller can handle a solid amount of Ice Time probably up to 20min, but fits better at 18-19min.

Cehlarik is a top 9 forward project. He had 4 goals in 20 games this season, which isn't too bad for a project.

For this trade to make sense the Oilers need to get someone pretty good in exchange for Larsson.

Kinda like this. But we dont know about Backes and he's interest in Minny (or any team else). Still, I hope we can move Backes somewhere to get some cap.
About Puljujärvi, its low risk, high reward type of signing. But he's as far as you can go from "Boston-style-of-game". But we can give him a try.
Maybe put Pulju to the first line next to Brad and Bergy to learn from the best.

That's not a bad idea if you're suggesting moving Pasta to line 2 and Coyle to line 3. Coyle would help Studnicka more defensively, so I see a match there. I put Heinen on the line because I think he's got good defensive instincts and positioning, but having Coyle on the other wing would do nothing but help Studnicka's development as well.

I would get away from Puljujarvi if I were you. You will have to pay much more to get him and he has already looked worse and worse. Idk about that minny trade but it doesn't look that bad. other than that Carlo deal. 3 by 3 would be perfect.

I like a 6 year deal with Carlo even if it was for 4M per. I'd like to lock him in because he really looks like he's found his game. I feel like 6 years is a good compromise between 8 years and 3 years and the money is in the middle as well.

Puljujarvi is very low risk in this situation. If the Bruins had to give up something of value I'd look elsewhere, but if all they're asking for is a #4 RHD and a project forward I think it's worth the risk. The point in the trade was basically "these two assets are being moved..... what can i package them together for and who has a need for these types of players?" Edmonton looked like a potential fit to me if they move Larsson for a forward which I think they'd be smart to do.

I think that's what has been ruining Pulju all this time; he's getting overplayed. As young as he still is, I think a reduced role on the 3rd line with Heinen and Coyle would be ideal. The two of them would let him mess up defensively until he finds his game. Hopefully, Stud could slot into a top 6 role or this idea falls apart, but I think it would be worth a try.

Look, if they are willing to move Puljujarvi for that low of a price, Id take him any day, but hes a top 4 pick, they have all the right in the world to ask for more. I guess the Carlo situation could be dealt many ways, but 4 by 6 is a bit too expensive on my liking but sure. I mean if we take him for 3, we can still play hardball on the last year with him to get a 6 year deal than but... ok
