The biggest problem I have with this team is where is the money to sign both Debrincat and Strome next year? do you think 10 million will do for both of them? would you rather have Debrincat, Caggula Kahun and Strome going forward or Skinner Kapnen and maybe 2 of the other guys mentioned.

Also if you are offering for Kapenen it will take a little more to get him for sure

To sign Skinner at 6/8 he'd have to leave ~10 to ~20 mil on the table from Buffalo...

Skinner another small forward . And one that has a scary injury and concussion history . I like the kapanen move . Still think the defence needs more help the hawks had no problem scoring they missed the playoffs because the defence is horrible .

check on the longterm outlook feature in this case they will have 20 mil plus whatever cap rise there is after next season resigning cat and strome is not a problem

No, TOR can't afford $4M plus Marner plus Johnsson even if they move Brown; simple math. And all the Toronto fans thinking Kap is going to sign for $3M are dreaming.

They also missed the playoffs because of bad puck possession which is large in part the offense.

I checked on it and you don't need $20M. Let me explain for the folks here; Cat = $8m bridge, Strome = $5.5M bridge, Crow = $3.5M x 2 or 3 years to retire a Hawk, Murphy gets moved as Boqvist and Mitchell will both be ready, Cap goes up another $3M at least. That's $17.5M; minus $8M for Cat and $5.5M for Strome leaves the team with $4M. Kahun will get another $1M or they let him walk and Sikura, Krashev, or Hagel steps in. Other option is sign Gus for $4.5M or trade him at the TDL if Carlsson or Krys is ready.

i never said you needed the 20 mil to sign cat and strome . i said the way your team is structured you left plenty of space to sign them . i was pointing out that cm10 is wrong

Yes, Toronto would be in trouble if all they could move was Brown; no, they can pay Marner and Johnsson and Kapanen and keep them all in a variety of ways, but none of them is convenient.

Please, make a team and pay Kap, Marner and Johnsson all what they are worth ($4M, $10M, $3m)....I'm interested how that works if you keep Nylander.
