Just curious- why would you specifically bring in players who have never won? Generally people like to bring in players who have done well in the playoffs (Boyle, Hagelin, etc)

Just based off comments from GMJR (which I kind of agree with): "I wonder if there’s too many guys content with where they are at in their careers after winning a couple of Stanley Cups and is that a signal where some of that has to be changed?"

Bring in new blood that hasn't won to reinvigorate the team. We saw what McCann and Bjugstad brought. Just imagine bringing in 6 more players with a little more intensity. I feel it could make a big difference,

I'm sorry. It has to happen. Phil's laziness is starting to spread. And Simon couldn't hit a wide open net if he tried (granted, he does maintain possession).

So basically you bring in players that have not won yet, and are hungry to win. That’s a nice approach to it.

Fair point, but he didn't play that much. But yes. I stand corrected.

Only due to breaking his leg in the middle of the season his return was a key part in the finals though with how much Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, and Oduya were overworked from rounds 2 and 3 due to Rozsival going down
