Just a few thoughts. Everyone is talking about Tampa being crushed against the cap but if they can trade the Callahan deal they free up quite a bit of room. The Ristolainen trade I'm not sold on, something Friedge mentioned on his pod and makes sense. You wonder if he could bounce back when you remember how young he is

Would rather give Bufffalo Sergachev than Foote .. Callahan could go to Buffalo also as part of deal ...

Even at that you're close to the cap with 20 man roster. Kilhorn's (and other TB players) have NTCs, so I doubt if KIlhorn is going to Buffalo.

NTCs aren't total stop signs .. if team doesn't want you the negotiation begins for you to go .. but your point is valid .. the one to trade asap is Gourde BEFORE his NTC and new contract kick in. GOURDE contract is major mistake by new GM who has sucked ..1. Gourde contract 2. Doing nothing at trade deadline to bring character and balls to the team and 3. Cooper extension BEFORE PLAYOFFS .. really did nothing right.. more poor leadership ...
