why? Jarry is great value for a 3rd pick JJ is basically a throw-in to make it happen. It's not like cap-space matters to Detroit rn, you guys are a lil ways out of becoming the power-house you once were.

Except Rybar had better numbers than Jarry this season in the AHL. Detroit just signed Philip Larsson has Bernier for another 2 years and Howard signed a one year deal. So Jarry isn't something Detroit really needs right now. We do have cap space but that's 4 more seasons stuck with JJ. I don't want to be mean but he is really really bad. How did he get a 5 year deal? Plus Detroit is rebuilding and that draft pick just too important. to give up. I'm sorry but I just can't see how this helps Detroit at all.
