Personally I would shop other offers first but I think it's a fair trade if the rangers decided to do it.

Serious question. Is Namestnikov that bad?? Every, and I literally mean every, ACGM for the Rangers trades him. I've yet to see one that keeps him on the roster and none trade him for much.

With that said, Sabres pass.

apparently the Canes are asking a 1st round pick for Fox, which seems crazy.

No hes not. Hes plays a 200 foot game but his offense has lacked since moving on from Stamkos. He has the potential to produce alongside elite talent (Eichel) but I just dont think he fits into New York long term plan.

Kreider trade is good imo but leafs pass. Nylander hasn’t produced much offensively but he’s been really good defensively for them. Plus he is so overpayed that I wouldn’t want him on the Rangers. Also, even if us fans have given up on Andersson, the management has not. Therefore, he will not be traded.

I haven't given up on Andersson either but the reality you have to give to get and with the center depth between Z, Chytil, and Howden you can move Andersson. I dont think Andersson or Howden would should be moved to the wing and I'd rather trade one than have them get 10 minutes a night. Trouba would solve the issue of a top pair RHD and hes young enough that trading a young asset is a problem to me. That's just my opinion but I would also be fine if they kept Lias

I feel the same way you do, but I was speaking in terms of reality, which is that Andersson won’t be traded.
