Description
Forward units get much faster, much tougher defensively, and slightly more physical in top 9. (More productivity in Forwards as well, but spread out over 4 lines).

Philadelphia gives up Couturier and unloads a bad contract in Reid, and gets Philadelphia native Bobby Ryan (who can play wing with Giroux). Philadelphia still has Giroux, B Schenn, Konecny, Cousins, Laughton, Bellemare, and VandeVelde who can play centre.

Can't imagine any team really wanting to take on 29 year old Bobby Ryan and his 7.25m contract for 7 more years.

Thats maybe the hopeful part, I tried to entice them by taking on part of Read's contract (which they want to unload) adding to their young D depth, and adding a 3rd rounder. Also, Ryan is a Philadelphia native and a natural goal scorer who can play left wing (something Philadelphia has been seeking for years to play with Giroux on the top line). I'm hoping a top line of Ryan, Giroux, Simmonds is too good for the flyers to pass up.
