Hope this is a joke? Trouba wants no part of Canada, And Brown and a late 2020 1st is nowhere close to getting Trouba. Not what Winnipeg needs.

I mean Winnipeg and Toronto are 2 very different versions of Canada, though that may not matter. Either way, even as a Leafs fan this isn't 1/2 what it would take to get him

Exactly Winnipeg's needs are #2C and top 4 Dman doubt any team is going to offer that to them. Unless it comes with an extension and there's probably only about 5 teams that fit that bill.

IT'S NOT! Show me! Where have you seen a legitimate report about Trouba only wanting to signing with 3 or 4 teams? Show me a link. Was it reddit? A HF board. C'mon man! Yes, its obvious he doesnt want to be in Winnipeg but ... you have no idea what he will do!

For debates sake let's say a team wanted to trade for Trouba as a full season and playoff run rental and didn't have much if any interest in signing him, what's a full season+playoff run rental of Trouba worth?
Is he worth the same as Muzzin or less?
Can't see any team doing that but it's possible I guess.

I would say he is worth considerably more than Muzzin. Hes a 25 yr old top pairing RHD who just put up 50 points. What team in the NHL would NOT want him? Muzzin is 30 and has a career high of 42 points.

To the Jets, worth minimum of Sandin or Liljegren and 2020 1st and go from there.

As a Jets fan I'd be pretty happy with that return but not sure Toronto would do that.
