Description
I think this is realistic. Best case scenario we can get rid of the patty contract. If they do, maybe they can keep willy. I can also see them bring back hainsey for a haircut.

The canes trade is definitely not realistic. Switch the picks to a first to Carolina and it might be, but the canes don’t want to move pesce. For 8 years Marner is getting significantly more

he showed promise playing with Muzzin, but I wouldn't mind him being moved. ( I definitely don't think he has negative trade value)

Nylander is worth more than pesce. He had a rough season...so did Johnny hockey after his contract negotiation. I was generous with that trade. Pesce is great, but Carolina needs to support Aho upfront.

nope. pesce is an awesome player with zero question marks on an amazing contract. nylander has question marks all over him, and his contract is suspect. If they had identical contracts, it would be a fair swap.

I am not doubting pesce is a great add for Toronto. But Nylander has the potential to be a 70+ Point scoring winger (Heck even Centre). He had a bad season which is why we think his contract is questionable. I just dont want to see a repeat of the Hall trade where willy goes and wins the hart. I think He defiantly has a lot of potential still.

Yes, he has the potential to be a 70 point guy which would be living up to his contract. Pesce on the other hand isn't potential. He's there. He's already a stud, and he is wildly outperforming his awesome long term contract.
