Description
having fun...trying to make a contender next year...I like these trades because MTL keeps their 1sts...the Byron/Weise trade helps LAK with speed, which they need, badly.

I am also aware that I could've just traded Drouin but his value isn't worth trading. Plus, having him on that line might get him working. The Puljarvi thing is assuming the new EDM GM wants to move on from him, and is cheap. The Sam Girard one is a fun one...Brings in a cheap, talented and QC LD. Not sure of the price, though.

Gimme your comments and criticisms. Other than the fact that there is no cap manoeuverability.

Especially the Colorado trade. Girard is worth way more than that. His stock never stopped rising since he have been draft. Let's change the 3rd for a 1st, and that's a starter. And I dont know why the Avs, who are on their way to a contending team, would move Girard.

The LA trade make no sense they are rebuilding they wont be looking to trade draft pick for a vet and a cap dump.

Trading Shaw, who was on pace for 60 pts this year, and adding a 3rd round pick for a guy who was on pace for 16 pts in his 3rd year in the NHL. Yup, way to take advantage of Puljujarvi's low value by giving up a top 6 forward and a draft pick. You really stole him from Edmonton.
