Maybe. PK is expensive but he's locked up for multiple years and has also been really good. His scoring was down this year, but every other analytical measure was on par or better than previous seasons. He was also the best Preds defenseman in the playoffs. Josi is going to get PAID after the 19-20 season so the Preds may look to sell high and monetize him to avoid that extension.

I am not sure how this really helps the Preds. They add a scoring winger, sure. But, why give up two NHL Regulars for just draft picks? That just makes them worse for random picks in the future?
