Well that is a hard no from NYR. Kaapo and Kreider for Drai and a massive cap dump? This might be right without Lucic but not with him.

Yeah as an oilers fan I dont think NYR take this deal. I wouldnt mind it though. I think I'd rather have Drai over Point though mainly for size and strength up the middle

What would make it more fair? A young 100 point player on a bargain contract has a lot of value. Kakko won’t put up better numbers than drai

Oilers probably don't do this trade at all. You're literally taking the only help McDavid's ever known. Don't want to put him on an island

I’m not debating weather or not the oilers do it. This is all pretend make believe by a bunch of sports nerds. Your points are valid. I don’t think the oilers trade a guaranteed 100 point player for a prospect. I’m just seeing if people think it’s fair. I legit think this roster is better than the one that was on the ice this year tho.
