And yet, you keep coming back to talk trash.

Just answering your questions. Although I'm pretty much done wasting time with you.

I wasn't talking about ice-time specifically, although he's 4th in TOI as well. P/gp, p/60, GF%, giveaways, takeaways. blocked shots, etc - in all these metrics Subban has the worst stats of the top-4. And I realize that he'd be the 1RD in Edmonton, that's why I'm trading for him. The fact that he's your 4th best and highest paid just makes it easier to trade him IMO. It's the least painful.

I honestly think Nashville should trade 2 of Subban, Ekholm, Josi, Ellis. I personally lean towards Subban + Ekholm. Ekholm would get the largest return so trade him for some serious forward help. Then trade subban to back fill 2nd pairing LHD + picks but i'm sure my fellow Nashville fans would call me absolutely crazy for that idea.

PK while not the most valuable asset in the world is worth more than RNH himself... but IMO this trade is very lopsided towards EDM.

Blues say absolutely no. Fabbri has had issues with injuries, is worth much more than a 6th D at best, the 4th doesn't make up that difference.

Every team declines and they do it easily.

Nashville:
Subban > RNH

STL:
No reason to move Fabbri for Benning. Fabbri probably isn't worth much but they don't need benning either so not a move they'd be likely to make let alone adding a 4th on top of it.

But it doesn't change the fact that these trades just suck and only a biased fool can consider them as fair...

Haha, just looking back at some old threads: my proposals for Nashville and St Louis are much better than what they actually got in return for Subban and Fabbri.

And yet there's a host of negative comments from posters who "know better". tears of joy

RNH = Turris (this season)
Subban for prospects >>>> Lucic

Fabbri for DLR is questionable deal and probably about the equivalent of Benning so that's actually pretty close to what happened so good job there

Benning is worth a 2nd, so that's not even close. And Turris = RNH?? You must be high.

This season yes. Both have about the same production. That’s more of a condemnation of rnh play this season than praise for turris. Rnh has not been great so far and turris has seemingly gotten back to his typical play.

Nugent-Hopkins is sporting a 71.43 GF% and is on pace for 51 points despite terrible shooting luck. Turris isn't close.

And NHL GM's don't evaluate players based on the last dozen games.
