Well stupid, I think anyone would take Kapanen over DeAngelo considering I could throw my dog out on the ice and he'd be better defensively maybe not offensively because of this one fluke season he's had in his whole career if anything this trade favors the rangers.

Sure, I am fine with that. I am not sure what the ceiling is for Deangelo. He is very good at moving the puck but he's still a very flawed player. In my mind, Kapanen has a very high value right now and I want to capitalize on that to save some cap space and check off a different need.

And yeah, I was having a discussion with a Ranger Fans and they were saying that DeAngelo came out of nowhere and quickly became their #1 D prospects. His progression this year has been unreal, which probably makes him untouchable.

The guy they might be willing to trade would be Pionk. Especially after they get Fox locked up.

Not sure what the value would be here. It's really hard to gauge when you're trading a D for a Fwd

DeAngelo was much better this year and the Rangers cant afford to trade away any decent defenseman. I'd say you could have Pionk instead but that would not

Its ok to say you think Denagelo is better or worth more (I disagree) but use some actual logic. Don't use verbal diarrhea to make a point. I'm a habs fan and I think Kapanen is at least equal value to Deangelo so its not only in a TML world.......
