Dallas trade is an L for the canucks.
Ottawa trade won't happen. Eriksson isn't waiving his NMC, nor does Ottawa want him.
I kind of like that Pittsburgh trade, and think it is near-fair. PIT might want a third or fourth round pick added on.
The leafs trade makes sense for both sides. And it's fair too. This is probably the best Kapanen trade I've seen.

How would you lose Hutton on waivers?? He would become the 4-5 Dman. As for Madden, he has top 6 potential. Mid 6 ideally, and losing him after college is the risk you take when drafting or trading for an NCAA player. Signing Kapanen on an offer sheet for the $4.2 I have plugged him in for could cost a 1st and 3rd. You get the 3rd, a 2nd pairing dman, and a potential second line winger*

* Madden is a C but likely to become a W at the NHL level.

Rielly Dermott and muzzin... do we sit him in the pressbox for 3m? No use for Hutton so gone on waivers. I was demonstrating how appealing Hutton is as a piece in this trade.

Like I said get stecher in there. Now that is worth it. Rhd we can pair with muzzin. There are dozens of ufa’s we could sign cheaper than Hutton. Why give up kappy?

Muzzin can be used on either side. Therefore this trade would work. If Stetcher makes more sense, then they are interchangeable. I personally think Hutton did better last year.

Yeah we tried that already, it didn’t work. Stecher makes less and I think he has more potential. He is also right handed. Just a better fit.
