Feels a bit low Dzingel, but I'll take it. I think they just rather eat Barbs contract instead of taking a lessor pick, considering there is only one year left, especially since it isn't a make or break for salary cap. Also way low on Nelson. He'll get closer to 5, so will Dzingel.

If we can trade sodes for a 5th and dzingle for 3.75 that would be nice that would be a welcomed upgrade, but i think the rest are not needed. wilson for 4 years is 5 years too long

This team looks dangerous if they can get some depth scoring. The only thing that I don't see happening is Ryan Miller signing anywhere but socal. He wants to stay close to his wife.

Everyone is a parrot when it comes to the Avs "Depth Scoring". Oh we don't know these guys so they need more depth and sign and trade for 4-5 guys. Avs were 10th in league scoring Goals For, and are showing that they are getting playoff scoring from their "depth"

The depth isnt bad and you don't need to do radical surgery to it outside the top line.

Diz I only think he gets 3.75,4,5 because his playoffs weren’t the best

I agree, we have decent depth right now and if you include kaut and bowers next season it gives us a little more.

I think thats tough to factor in as a Club for contract negotiations, he got just about 60 points. I think on an open market expect him to get more than 5.5.

Most realistic team I've seen, Love it because it doesn't kill our cap space.

Its the name of your title and you signed 5 new UFAs and have changed your roster since my comment, So yeah I would say you are being a parrot with the "Depth Scoring"

Also Soderberg for a 5th? The guy just put up 23 goals, you are really short changing the Avs on that deal

Avs will have potential 5 1st rounders at this years Camp that could make the opening night roster Makar (still counts bc he wasn't at last camp and is a lock), Kaut, Bowers, Avs 16th/28th Overall, and the 4th Overall.

The Depth is there now and getting better with this playoff push , it still is one of the youngest Rosters in all the NHL, and has the chance to turn it over even further with more young high end talent. The Depth is fine and will shock a lot of people who arent familiar with this team outside of the Big 3 and Makar.

Appreciate it. i thought of the future when girard and barrie comes up next year then Makar, Landy and Grubauer year after. Jost next year will be a big year to see if he will be a top 6 forward or a good top 9 if he shows improvement from this year but not wanna give a long term deal so then I think a bridge will be the way to go if his demands are too high. And also yes he’s eligible for a new contract in 3 years but Mac will be getting AT LEAST 12 million which is another big signing you will be looking for. So deals I see will be:
Girard 3.75-4.5(depends on next season but ill try to get him signed this offseason).
Barrie: 6.75-7
Landy: 6.75-7.25
Makar: 5.5-6 because he already looks like a superstar
Grubauer:4.5
Jost if long term 3.5-3.75X5 or bridge 2.75-3X2-3 years
Mac:12.5
So that what came to mind with out going insane lol. Thoughts?

Totally true, i don't know if our picks will be jumping right into the roster as how we have been developing our players has been working so why rush them right now. We still need to address the second line center position but i don't think brock nelson is the answer.

I truly do believe that Jost can be the 2C on this team long term. He is such a smart player and the way he processes the game, you can't teach that. Look at what the Jost Compher line did yesterday once Jost isn't side saddled with Gabe Bourque and Ghetto

IF you upgrade the Wings around him, I think Jost as a 2C would flourish. Get a guy like Panarin, move Landy down to play with Jost, still have Compher on the RW on 2nd Line. I think that would be a pain of a 2nd line to play against

Looks pretty good, maybe Girad gets a bit more, I am not so sure Barrie will be back, but that depends how other people in their contract years perform, if Jost breaks out he'll be looking at a decent pay day. I kinda think that they will take Byram, to replace Barrie because cap is gonna be tight with such a big core to lock down. Then through MacK's new contract on top of that a couple years after all this. Who do you think they take at 4, I think this will play a big part in who leaves/Traded?

It depends because if dylan couzens is there and if mangement has doubt if Jost can be a top 6 centre I think he could also be an option so there wouldn’t be a worry about signing a 2nd or 3rd line centre and waste cap on that.
But as for Byram can be as well and i feel like mangement will ask barrie what’s he looking for and if they feel its to high then yes think about him. Also You guys already have 2 top 4 LHD guys in Z and Girard so unless you wanna pay Z 3.75-4.25 to play on the bottom 6 but again you will have to find away to move a cole or Johnson for him to play bottom pairing. I don’t think that’s smart. The way this dcore has played in the playoffs I would keep it the same in my opinion.
Another option is Podkolzin a RW scorer so that is another great option or even Dach but that maybe a reach at 4.
