This is a guy you do need and fair value for him though.... Faulk honestly straight up makes Toronto a helluva lot better

And he is only needed in tea of handedness, not play style, we want play style as well (shot suppression)

That is like me saying you should overpay for Connor brown as you need forwards who can score goals, and the leafs scored the most 5v5 goals in the league.

Faulk was one of the reasons, genuinely. Slavin and Hamilton had really disgusting years defensively (Slavin was still top 10 defensively in the league in terms of chances given up, this is completely off topic but the man is a beast) TvR, De Haan, Fleury, Bean, Trevor Carrick, and McKeown all had time on the bottom pair, De Haan was decentm but the best 2 stats wise on the team were Brett Pesce and Justin Faulk, your'e gonna say "oh but Toronto want Pesce" and we've been through that. Faulk for sure fills the needs of Toronto. Carolina gave up the fewest shots in the league, and Justin Faulk was a big part of that
