I don't think that the wings care about zetterberg's contract right now as much as you think.

why would they give you a 30 goal scorer to move a contract that just goes on ltir and doesn't hurt us at all. they dont need to move it

Zetterberg is on the LTIR and doesn't affect Detroit's cap whatsoever. They aren't going to give up assets to move him, it doesn't make sense.

No real reason for DET to move him. He's owed only $2 million total in real money over the next 2 years and his cap hit goes to LTIR, thus not affecting DET cap situation.

Come on dude think, Why in the hell would we even entertain such a proposal in the first place? You're dealing with Yzerman now not Holland he isn't this dumb. This is the most ludicrous offer i've seen yet. First off Zetterbergs contract doesn't lessen the value of AA whom's easily a mid 1st round pick. And secondly Detroit gives up a #6 pick+#35 pick and Zetterberg for a lesser 1st round pick from Arizona that's like around #14 overall Zetterberg is on career ending LTIR he doesn't cost us any thing. Your proposal both of them are just plain laugh

And that's being polite.
