Sens decline. Sens what to add cap and save as much money as possible. Sens would end up with less cap space, and they'd end up having to pay Lucic several millions more than they'd be paying Gab or Clarkie.

Also I doubt Puljujarvi and a 3rd is enough to move Lucic in the first place. Puljujarvi has so many red flags surrounding him.

I don't see why Drai should have to carry his own line. McDavid is the best player in the world but has never been forced to carry his line without a top 6 winger (always had Nuge or Draisaitl with him). Strong lines and top 6 teams have is tandems, what the Oilers are missing is that additional top 6 winger to flank with Nuge or Drai.
