Rangers are not trading Georgiev. He was excellent in the final stretch of the season. Russel also doesn’t address their needs. SJ will easily match that offer.

Doubt it. SJ is not exactly in the situation to overpay any assets.

Also NYR eventually won't need Georgiev. Shestyorkin will take the 2G slot, behind Lundqvist.
