Rass and Lil Z are going to the AHL. Of the two Rass has the better shot to make the team as he’s a big body that plays in front of the net. But since he has no more Jr rights transfer issues—it’s no longer NHL or QMJHL (that’s he only reason he was in the NHL last year). Zadina was clearly not ready and must learn to play at both ends of the ice something the AHL can help him with. He’ll probably be the first forward up though.

Svechnikov gains another year of waiver exemption b/c he was on IR all last year so he’ll be in the AHL as he works back from a serious knee injury.

the Wings aren’t going to carry 8 d-men. I think they retain salary and move Daley.

Helm loses his NTC in June because the Wings didn’t make the playoffs. So maybe they retain salary move him and open a roster space and still get cap savings.

im not sure where ras and zadina end up. if they have a good camp and look ok then they may start with the big club.

Dude i know...k..relax..just visual where the organIzation sees depth chart in general all things equal..of course it'll look different come camp ..it's just a visual w Kaski added
