VAN decline, Baertschi is still a very useful player to the Canucks when he is healthy and is worth more than a bottom paring dman. Lucic is not waiving for Ottawa, Wild decline they can get a better deal for Zucker from someone else. The Leafs trade is reasonable and can happen.

Ottawa might do it as it is $22.5M in actual salary for Ryan vs $19M in actual salary for Lucic.

Because of the signing bonuses, buyout actual cost only drops from $17M to $16.5M though.

I think the teams would be intrested in this deal but you'd have to convince the players on this deal and that would be a harder sell. But pigs do fly now so it might be possible

The leafs want picks. They arent interested in picking up more depth players atm. Maybe a 3rd or 4th instead
