Ferland and Dzingel are underpaid. Generally fan favorite power forwards that go UFA tend to be more expensive. Wouldn't be too surprised to see both of them getting $5M+ AAV contracts.

Their playoff performances dropped their value. Likely get a little bit more, but not much.

Just curious by your lineups, do you see Dellandrea having a realistic chance at the NHL next year?

I think Dzingels playoff performance lowered his value. Will definitely be interesting to see what he gets this offseason.

This is the beginning of the season. I think he'll get the same thing Barrett Hayton and Evan Bouchard got. He'll get the 9-game trial to impress the Stars brass. If you stick him on the 4th line with guys like Cogliano & Pitlick, I don't think he'll do enough to warrant the Stars keeping him with the team this year. This is why I have him on the 3rd line bewteen Gurianov and Ferland. This will be the best case for him to showcase his skillset. Stars do this with their roster, and I think Dellandrea has a real legitimate shot at sticking with them after his 9-game tryout.

Before the postseason, I had him getting roughly Zuccarello money. He lost some significant value during the playoffs. I'd be surprised to see him get north of $5M this offseason.

That trade is bad for Columbus. Nuti is worth more than that. He has a very team friendly contract and is getting better each year.

He was a scratch most of the playoffs and is a 3RD with Columbus, behind Savard & Jones. The Jackets are getting a ping forward who played top-6 minutes in the playoffs, and proved that at the absolute worst he’s a 3rd line forechecker that can provide offense. They’re also getting a former 1st Round Pick, with excellent possession numbers that still has a fair amount of promise turning into a bottom-4 defenseman. They also get an early round pick as well.

I know you’re a Jackets fan, and don’t want to lose Nutivaara, but this is an extremely fair trade for a guy that you’d likely be leaving exposed for the expansion draft in 2 years anyway. Between Jones, Werenski, Savard, and Murray, Nutivaara just doesn’t fit into the long-term plans of the Blue Jackets. Not to mention Kukan and . The Jackets would be smart to sell high on Nutivaara, before they’re forced to move him for less than he’s worth

He was injured. Not a healthy scratch! Lol He didn't play because of the Kucherov hit. Do your homework first

My apologies for not paying attention to the Blue Jackets this postseason, but that doesn’t change the rest of my post. He’s buried behind guys on the depth chart. Trading him now, while he has good value would be in the best interest of the Blue Jackets. In your most unbiased opinion, is he a top-4 RD with the Blue Jackets? Is he better than Savard or Jones? The answer is no. With Panarin, Duchene, and Dzingel leaving this offseason, the Jackets will need top-6 help. Dickinson provides that immediately, he’s young, and he’s under team control for a while. Throw in a possession driving defenseman that can use a change of scenery AND a 2nd Round Pick, and I really don’t see the value being off at all. What do you think he’s actually worth??
