Description

Chicago gets younger and gives opportunities to young guys rather than overspend in free agency. They draft Bowen Byram at 3rd overall to add to Beaudin, Boqvist, and Jokijarju for the future. That will be a fantastic top 4 in the future.

Ejdsell signed in Sweden, so scratch that. Dzingel probably gets more. Not that I'd pay it. Boqvist won't be in Chicago to start the year. It's probably 50/50 at this point he even turns pro.

Dzingel is from Illinois so I thought he would sign for less. Plus he was a healthy scratch in the playoffs for Columbus.

Eh, one healthy scratch doesn't erase a 56pt season with 26 goals, and a marked improvement every year. He'll get 5 in Chicago, maybe a touch more somewhere else if he wants to make more money, but 4.5 won't get it done.

Have a feeling McCabe might cost you more if Buffalo is going to write him off like that. Most Sabres GMs have him in their lineups.
