Both Kapanen and Johnsson would be sent an offer sheet for at least a million more than that. I guess were just totally ignoring the fact Marleau has an NMC?

NHL players that barely speak english don't make squat when it comes to endorsements. Anze Kopitar made a paltry 60,000 in endorsements. Florida also has a coach Panarin is familiar with. I think theyre closer to competing than New York. And Panarin just posted photos of himself in Miami

You're assuming that Panarin would sign for 11mil. The problem is Florida wants him and would likely pay close to that same amount, except he'll play half his games tax free there.
But if you want to toss in Reaves instead of the pick, deal

Chicago will take Strome...if New York takes Anisimov. We'll even throw in a mid round pick.

Hawks
I'd consider it from the Hawks end if they used Gustafson instead of Murphy. The Hawks don't need scoring help, they need D help. Then again if you can package Gustafson with Seabrook I'd much rather go that route. Detroit isn't close though, so it doesn't make a ton of sense on their end to take on Anisimov.
And how do you not have Jokiharju on the opening night roster? McQuaid has been consistently hurt. He played 77 in 16/17 then have to go back to 11/12 when he played 72... Other than that, always hurt.

Ejdsell signed in Sweden, so scratch that. Dzingel probably gets more. Not that I'd pay it. Boqvist won't be in Chicago to start the year. It's probably 50/50 at this point he even turns pro.

Evolving hockey released it's spreadsheet of what players should make based on years. They nailed the Lindell deal. They have Trouba at 7.2-7.3 for a 5 or 6 year deal. Andrew MacDonald is really in the lineup??

Anisimov is essentially a negative in any trade for a good player. So it would take more to get Danault.
Gonna take way more to get Hagg.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Laudan</b></div><div>To low on Marner</div></div>
If anything it's high. Marner is an RFA. Therefore he doesn't have the power to command a higher price, unless a team is willing to offer sheet and give up 4 first round picks which no one will do. His salary probably falls between 9.5 and 10 per year, and that's where evolving hockey has put him.
The Marleau deal should be viewed as a salary dump. No way they get anything valuable back in return.

Dear God no Wayne Simmonds... especially at 5.5.... and 5 years?
Perlini gets more than Kampf.
PLEASE no Podkolzin at 3. His numbers were just OK and don't warrant that pick. His numbers rivaled Nichuskin and Kostin. And even if he is taken, he has a contract in Russia. He's not coming over for at least 2 years.
Boqvist isn't ready. He won't turn 19 until August. He may not even play pro hockey this year. I think the guy that gets overlooked organizationally is Lucas Carlsson. He put together a damn good rookie year in Rockford playing on small ice for the first time. Murphy deserves that 2rd spot.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>Yeah saw that. The majority they are within 15% accuracy but some they are way off on. Nyquist for example IMO is a $6M guy and Dzingel a $5M a year guy, and Skinner a $8M a year guy. Agree on Duchene, Lee and Panarin. Perlini is not a $2.1M guy...Hawks should trade him if that's the case.</div></div>
I think it depends on which Perlini you get. Is he the guy that showed absolutely nothing for the first 15 games. Or can he be a 30-40 point forward. I feel like it's the Duclair argument. Stan got **** big time with Duclair's start to last year. But then fizzled quickly. He got traded and produced again. I think Perlini has more hockey sense than Duclair. When the Hawks got Duclair one scout said he skates fast, but has zero hockey sense.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>No need to grab Pouliot. We have Koekko, Dahlstrom, Gilbert and Carlsson all serviceable guys on the 3rd line.
Also, you've signed Perlini (most obvious) and Kampf and Sikura to too much. Perlini = $1M to $1.5M max, Sikura = $900K to $1.25M max, Kampf = $1M to $1.5M max.
The biggest issue, with the assumption the Hawks draft Byram who will be ready next season or definitely the season after, it would be crucial for the hawks to find a top 6 winger. With Skinner, Panarin, Dyzingel, Ferland, Nyquist available, the Hawks need to grab at least one of these guys.</div></div>
Evolving hockey released their predictions for player contracts based on term and dollars. They were on the nose for the Lindell contract. They say Perlini should get 1.4 on a 1 year deal and almost 2.1 for a 2 year deal.
Kampf should get 1.2 for a 2 year deal
Sikura they're more bearish about and have him pegged at 812 on a 1 year deal.
They said Koekkoek was worth 916k on a 2 year deal.
Panarin-10.5
Dzingel-5.6
Skinner-8.5
Ferland-5.5
Nyquist-6.6
Duchene-7.8
Anders Lee- 5.5

A pre Panarin trade Saad might have worked. But he's lost his lustre.
Ferland probably gets more. GM's do stupid things for power forwards. Beleskey. Backes. Horton (everyone knew he was broken). Clarkson. Hell even ryane clowe
